ASKTBAR and WLXPGSS.SCR poor ? is there a “removal tool”?

Question by midasgold: ASKTBAR and WLXPGSS.SCR bad ? is there a “removal tool”?
I found in defender that my Computer was poisened with ASKTBAR and I also found an unknown titel WLXPGSS.SCR are they negative and if so is there a removal tool. I have “Norton 360 all in one particular safety” installed but clearly that does not repsond to them. I run XP residence on my Computer and Vista Ultima on my Laptop.

According to this very reputable forum under,
ASKTBAR utilised to be called ASKJEEVES,
or still is and toolbar is named ASKTBAR
and it is possible removal could be straightforward.
This is place on the pc legit.. by somebody.
Its a browser helper<>look under tools<>
manage add-ons.Also look in add/take away!!!!!

According to prevx above the vendor appears
to be microsoft,and not positive if thats excellent news,
but if genuine….it really is safe.Possibly windows reside
care……….

Only other thing to add is,it could explain why your
very own safety did not flag those two.
