   I bought this after an engineer friend’s recommendation. It indicated his pc had a harddrive problem and he replaced the harddrive and his pc was fine. I definitely have a problem with an HP Pavillion (model m8300f)running Vista 32 bit, that I have had for 3 to 4 years (bought it new from Fry’s). It has performed well up until the last few months. Now, it regularly locks up, sometimes with a blue screen, sometimes it just freezes. I bought CheckIt Diagnostics 8 and it indicated everything was fine. It is quick and convenient but did not help me out. So this is not a pan of the software just a report that it can miss some very bad problems.

   I purchased this software hoping it would save the cost of hiring a technician and it did not do that . The Program gave my Computer a clean bill of health and continued to slow down and crash .
