Capacity for accessories without bulkiness, December 11, 2011

Most netbook cases come with a compartment for the netbook and a pocket for accessories. Packing of a power supply is neither good in contact with the netbook nor good in the same space as any smaller items that may be pulled and thrown out and get lost. Besides the main compartment for the netbook, the PC Treasures case provides two external pockets for accessories. Within the main compartment, there is still a small pocket for small items, closed with velcro, and a less secure wider mesh pocket. The case can be attached to the netbook body with several elastic straps. The case fits well my Asus 10.1″ T101MT netbook. The case attaches in a convenient fashion to the netbook even though the latter has a swivel screen. I can keep the netbook within the case at all time. Padding is adequate. Within the smallest pocket in the main space, I keep a USB lamp and spare batteries. The larger outside pocket contains my AC adapter. From measurements, that larger pocket could contain the slimmest of USB DVD drives on the market, such as one from Aluratek. In the smaller outside pocket, I keep a mouse and a stylus. Presumably I will also carry there a USB hub. In spite of all the compartments, the external outline of the case is pretty slim. Handles for carrying the case are joined with a velcro wrap. Very often, when moving from one room to another at home or office, I just close (or half-close) the case, without closing the zipper around, and the netbook sits securly inside.I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Not for netbooks with bigger battery packs, January 22, 2010

    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

This review is from: PC Treasures 10-Inch PocketPro carrying case (Personal Computers)

It might have mentioned it in the description but if you have an extended battery pack (mine was a 6 cell one) it will not fit very well into the case. If you stretch it you can make it fit, but I would just zip it to the edge of the battery and velcro the handles together. Case isn’t very thick so I don’t know how much protection it will actually provide. The pockets are nice to hold various things like chargers, head phones, flash drives. It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but for the price it is an average case.
