Question by M33KLO: Does registry booster function as very good as they say?
now im not confident if this is just me but from all the advertisements and all “Registry Booster” from Uniblue is one of the very best or the finest registry cleaner for your laptop or computer. now im a Pc Gamer and yesterday i was playing Prototype on my computer. nicely in fact alot of games. Nicely anyway i see an ad for it and i say to myself, well perhaps it’ll perform and my personal computer will run more quickly. so i download the trial and properly as others almost certainly do i looked up the serial code for it on youtube so i can take out ALL of the registry blunders and not just 15 of them. there were 1.5k (1,500) “mistakes” on my pc. so i takem off and i restart my pc. later on i choose to play a game and my Show monitor stops functioning. this ONLY occurs when i attempt to play the game. actually when i attempt to play ANY game on my pc. Prototype, Hawx, Cod4, Cod6 and so on…. so i reinstall the game and it works perfectly. i run registry booster again… i run the game… my show monitor however once more STOPS Working… so from my experience Uniblue Registry Booster is crap. Is there anyone else who has had ANY kind of troubles Following utilizing Registry Booster? or is this just me.
Also im not confident which one particular it was BUT i am 100% certain it was a Uniblue Product and Norton 360 Detected a Trojan after installing the .exe file from the Consumer Website.
i agree with men and women saying not to click on random ads. that is 100% genuine. Even though… it was Recommended by a trusted site… CNet. So… that gave me much more of a push to go fourth to it. Also i am using Windows Vista and i will be upgrading to Windows 7 Later.

The huge majority of programs that claim to increase your efficiency by undertaking some thing to your registry are snake oil.

First of let me tell you the Number one Internet safety tip for avoiding viruses. DO NOT CLICK ON ADS.
As for the registry booster there is never a reason that you would ever need a registry booster or cleaner the only reason you should ever do anything in the registry is if you are having serious problems messing with the registry can make your computer inoperable if you do it the wrong way my suggestion would be to not do anything with it.
All those programs that claim to boost performance are snakeoil. I would be very surprised if you havent infected you registry with a malware of some sort.
It would help if you said which OS you are using, then I would be able to tell you how to do manually what this crappy program claims to do automatically.
Also if you are using an OS newer than XP, its probably not necessary to use such a program at all, particularly if you are on Windows 7.
Registry cleaners are generally ineffective and often worse than useless. The listed mistakes are often just records of recently used files and do not noticeably affect performance.

Registry Booster is a very popular cleaner because they’ve spent a LOT of money advertising it. This might be good but can also mean bad things – as if they need to advertise, it generally suggests that this cleaner is not gaining speed on its own.
I personally use a program called “Frontline Registry Cleaner” which I have found is a lot more effective and reliable than the likes of Registry Booster. You can read more about it at http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html
Well I never used it and can not say exactly that it is good or not. For registry cleaners I used top4registrycleanerreviews.com for good reviews with latest updates so I choose from this source.
