   It belongs to the BS category. Registry cleaners make millions of dollars off of the simple-minded people that think that optimizing their registry actually benefits anything.

   It is a completely unnecessary tool, especially with modern OS’s. I’ve seen registry cleaners do more harm than good the majority of the time.
