Query by neil_575: There is a new version of pc tools antivirus. Is this a single far better than avast property?
I recently checked on www.pctools.com and found out that their antivirus has a new version. I would like to know if this new version is far better than avast. thanks!

If your referring to Computer tools antivirus totally free edition then i wouldn’t recommend it. Downloaded and installed the most recent version a number of days ago. It entirely drained my ram and resources and was slow as anything. When i ran a complete virus scan id left it for three hrs and it wasn’t even half completed.
I deleted it and was joyful yet again.
May well perform fine for you I’m not positive, but I am sticking to my avast.

when compared to PC tools anti virus avast home is better…but i would always recommend Kasper sky anti virus 2010 as it is helpful
99% of people are not aware of the problems an antivirus could cause to ur comp. Even though avast and kaspersky are greately rated, it accidently deleats your operating sys files and windows wont restart.
So its better you use a lighter but efficient antivirus. If the former antivirus people come to know that you are using a pirated version they spoil your pc delibrately. So it is better to use a freeware. Like i use AVG 8.0 its good and does not slow your pc.
OR it would be best if you switch to linux. Believe me it is the best ops you can find in this world. Use it to believe me.
